simon waller, keynote speaker

A keynote speaker can make or break your event and in a world where your audience has ‘seen it all before’ it is more important than ever to find that someone special if you want to create an impact.

Simon Waller is a keynote speaker based in Melbourne, Australia. Inspired by the multi-sensory experiences created by live musicians, Simon seeks to push the boundaries of what technology makes possible. His keynotes bring together thought-provoking ideas and cutting edge video and sound mixing technology to create truly memorable experiences that would be impossible to recreate on the ‘small screen’ of virtual events.

As a keynote speaker on topics such as technology, leadership and the future of work, Simon saw the irony of keynote speakers relying heavily on Microsoft PowerPoint and Apple Keynote, both 20 year old technologies, to deliver their presentations. Looking for inspiration outside of the professional speaking community and with a long love of live music, Simon started exploring the technology used by visual designers working on concerts, music festivals and theatre productions.

Over the last five years, Simon has been perfecting the use of tools such as Resolume, Apple Motion and Logic Pro to deliver a new level of engagement and wonder to corporate audiences. Over that time, he has worked with filmmakers, sound designers and musicians to craft unique visual and audio compositions that captivate audiences.

But more than just style, Simon’s keynote presentations are also big on substance. He explores the emerging challenges and opportunities that the rampant uptake of technology has brought to our work and lives.
